The stylish and compact HP OMNI 100 all-in-one desktop offers the performance users demand from a tower and monitor in an all-in-one design, featuring enhanced multi-touch technology that allows people to access and interact with their photos, videos, music and games in unique ways without the need of keyboard or mouse besides offering full functionality of a traditional desktop PC.
The company also announced the HP TouchSmart Apps Center for one-touch access to free and subscription-based applications.
The new HP OMNI 100 all-in-one desktop PC is powered by 1.80 GHz AMD Athlon II Dual-Core Processor 260u and the desktop features Hyper Transport 3.0 using Socket AM3 build on AMD M880G chipset mainboard with 2-MB L2 cache and 3600 MHz FSB.
With Windows 7 Home64-bit Premium edition preinstalled, HP OMNI 100 all-in-one desktop PC is designed for photo and video editing jobs and it comes with 3-GB PC3-8500 240-pin DDR3 (1600 MHz) SDRAM, Max 4-GB in 2 DIMM Sockets, a 500-GB 7200 rpm (3GB/Sec speed) SATA Portable Hard drive and a 8X DVD (24X CD) Super Multi Drive Dual Layer (8.5 GB) DVD Writer with LightScribe Technology.
The new HP OMNI 100 all-in-one desktop PC’s is equipped with HP MediaSmart software that offers customizable interface and interactive tiles and allows gestures like pinch, rotate, arc, flick and press and drag and many more natural and intuitive movements.
HP OMNI 100 touchscreen enabled all-in-one desktop PC comes with 20-inch (50.8 cm) Touch-enabled TFT HD LCD monitor with BrightView technology siting on a pedestal base that tilts up to 30 degrees, offering 16:9 aspect ratio, 0.282 mm pitch and 5ms response time powered by ATI Radeon HD 4270 integrated graphics with 1-GB shared video memory, offering maximum resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels.
Sporting elegant black look with smooth contours, all-in-one HP Pavilion OMNI 100 also sports ALC 662 audio chipset with 5.1 High Definition Audio hardware with dual 4W each stereo speakers integrated into monitor frame. In addition, the desktop offers integrated webcam and microphone in the monitor frame.
Weighing just under 8.99 kgs, the new HP OMNI 100 all-in-one desktop PC comes with HP Slim Multimedia Cordless Keyboard (2.4 GHz) and HP Cordless Optical 2-button Scroll Mouse (2.4 GHz) getting rid of all the clutter of wires on the desk.
HP OMNI 100 all-in-one PC also features integrated 10/100/1000 Ethernet LAN connection (Broadband ready), integrated 56kbps v.92 Modem/Fax, integrated 802.11 b/g/n (draft) PCI Express Wireless Mini Card, 6 USB 2.0 ports (2 left, 4 back), and built-in PAL HDTV tuner card offering Personal Video Recording functionality with over-the-air DVB-T digital television receiver.
The integrated 6-in-1 card reader supports Secure Digital (SD, SDHC), Multimedia Card, Memory Stick and Memory Stick Pro (right side).
The HP OMNI 100 all-in-one Desktop PC is ENERGY STAR qualified and meets the standards for silver registration in the Electronic Products Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT).

HP has not announced the availability of HP OMNI 100 and earlier announced TouchScreen 310 all-in-one desktop PC in India market as yet but this all-in-one PC is expected to retail in India for starting price between Rs. 55,000 and 59,950 (plus taxes) like a similar HP TouchScreen 300 all-in-one desktop PC.
